Blazing Blake

My grandson Blake riding his new "Mongoose" two wheeler at age 3, he just got on one day and new how to ride! No one really helped him, he's just a natural little dude at it!

Family Reunion at Heaton Cabin at the Bar K Ranch

 

The Steiner Family Reunion was held at the Heaton Cabin at the Bar K Ranch just east of Cedar City, UT in the beautiful Dixie National Forest. We were at the crest of the famous Cedar Breaks Nat'l Park and had a great time relaxing and having fun with family. We spent the week splashing in the pond, zooming down the zip-lines, and tried to out shoot each other hitting targets and clay pigeons on the gun range. What a Super fun week for everyone! Weiner Roast, watermelon, and smore's were just a few of our favorites on the menu for the week!

Humanitarian Project in Hincesti, Moldova

This week a humanitarian trip to Hincesti, were people are living in poor conditions due to flooding in and around their town. Zach, pictured here with his Companion, Elder Laherty and two Sister Missionaries help hand out food and clothing to the flood victims.  Hincesti is a township just Southwest of Chisinau

Hello Elder Jensen from Moldova

Attached is a picture of Zach as we talked to him via Skype. He looks good, we were helping Lexi and Blake sing "I Love to See the Temple", and he got just a little emotional, but in a good way! Best of all, we made him laugh a lot! Several missionaries were invited to have Mother's Day dinner at Bro. & Sis. Aiken's home, he's the LDS Branch President in Moldova. Him and his wife, Kesli are living in Moldova on a two year assignment with the US State Department. Bro. Aiken is an ex-Marine and now works for the American Embassy in Chisinau. His wife arranged for the missionaries to talk to their mother's for 30 minutes each via Skype. It was such a treat to see him, and his smile! It was the best Mother's Day for me!

Little Miss Veterinarian

 Lexi loves animals! My friend calls her the "Little Chicken Girl" because she just can't get enough of the fuzzy little quackers! If there's animals around of any kind, Lexi will find them, feed them, and love them! Lexi has plans to be a Veterinarian when she grows up, and it looks like she's off to a good start.

Rach and The Moving Crew!

We looked similar to a Gypsy Wagon as we moved Rachel's stuff to storage in Utah County. Her cousin John John was there to help, what a great guy! Of course, he had nothing better to do than hang-out with us on a Saturday! Rach is heading to Twin Falls, Idaho to live with Andi and Wes for about a year. Rach wanted to spend some time with her sister and to be able to help with the kids. A few weeks ago, she walked into Chili's Restaurant in Twin Falls to pick up a job application and was hired on the spot. She will also be working as a Cosmetologist as soon as she's settled.

Kiera Jo is Growing Fast

We watched Kiera Jo while Jared and Cindy took a trip to Mexico. She was such a good baby, and loved all the attention from Lexi and Blake. We did learn one new thing, she has to sit up all the time even when giving her a bottle, she has to know what's going on and see everything. She's such a little sweetheart!!
